Eau de Parfum Discovery Set

There is a depth to these scents that is both calming and refreshing. I’m liking very well the deeper woody scents.

As someone who sprayed nearly every perfume at two makeup stores and a number of other alternative brands at boutique stores, I was happy to find four scents in this line I enjoyed. I can see how this might not be for everyone, I’d say stay away if sweet, bright, floral scents are more up your alley. But if you like deeper, musky and spiced smells this is a great selection! Currently deciding between ordering a full size of Gilded, Eros Fig, Sweet Grass, and Troubled Spirits.

I was so intrigued by the descriptions given. They sounded so subtle and natural. Unfortunately I found them unwearable. So strong that one spray in my washroom left the room smelling like old lady perfume for days. Sweetgrass was the only maybe scent but after a few hours I needed to take a shower because it was giving me a headache. Definitely not for me and a bit bummed I spent the cash.

Honestly, I found most of these unwearable. The copy makes them sound like ethereal (if heady) scents—I found them to lean heaily towards "old lady perfume," with no disrespect to old ladies—y'all know what I mean, scent-wise. Sweetgrass was the only one I wore more than once. Maybe just not my style.

I’ve been a long time tobacco and vanilla fan but have been looking for an alternative option. I’ve really enjoyed the discovery set, it’s been helpful to be able to see the whole line of scents and with the 2ml samples I’m easily able to see how each scent works with me over several days. I’m having a tough time deciding which scent I’m going to order the full bottle of, so far my favourites have been troubled spirits, sex & jasmine, gilded, and lucky days.
